Studio Tour/Communitrees
Event Host: Huron Arts and Heritage Network

Huron Arts & Heritage Network is calling on individuals, groups, businesses, organizations and schools in Huron County to celebrate local arts and culture by creating unique public artworks out of trees as part of the national Culture Days campaign from September 28 to 30, 2012. You can decorate, enhance or embellish the tree in any number of ways, just so long as the tree is not harmed in any way. You can hang individually created pieces from the branches to create a singular piece or maybe your tree will focus on a particular theme such as your local history or hang multiples of a single object; e.g. flowers, ribbons, birds, etc. The possibilities are endless – get creative, have fun and celebrate arts and culture in your community! The tree, or trees, must be located within the County and where they can be easily viewed by the public during Culture Days – September 28-30, 2012.
