This year the Blyth Festival Art Gallery is bringing together the spoken word and fine arts together as we host our inaugural POETRY IN THE GALLERY evenings in conjunction with our three professional shows.
All readings will start at 7:30pm in the Bainton Gallery.
July 28th will feature the poetry of Blair Trewartha. Blair Trewartha’s debut full-length collection of poetry, Easy Fix was published by Palimpsest Press in 2014 and shortlisted for the Relit Award. He is the author of three chapbooks: Break In (Cactus Press, 2010), Porcupine Burning (Baseline Press, 2012), and Human Energy (Anstruther Press, 2022). His poetry has appeared in Carousel, Prism, Event, Existere, CV2, The Dalhousie Review, and Prairie Fire Magazine. Blair was born and raised on a farm outside of Clinton, Ontario and now resides in London, Ontario.
