Bayfield 15-25
Difficulty: Coming Soon
Length: 17 km
Start: Coming Soon
Based on two long, straight legs, both roads differ in scenery and topography. Head north from your vehicle, turn right on Old River Road and within minutes you are turning left and heading north on Orchard Line, a segment of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. Primarily flat, this Line has you roll along a quiet road through a blend of trees and open fields. After a short east leg on #18/Cut Line Road, begin the return back on the very quiet Porter’s Hill Line, enjoying a more shaded, but somewhat hillier ride. When Porter’s ends at Bayfield River Road, turn right/west and enjoy the gentle downhill through the treed corridor as you recognize familiar sights returning you to your vehicle.
Bayfield 26-35

Bayfield 36-50
Difficulty: Coming Soon
Length: 37 km
Start: Coming Soon
As noted in the shorter Bayfield routes, head east once on Bayfield River Road. Stay on this quiet, rolling road until heading north on Tipperary Line. A short 2 km east on #13/Bayfield Road and 2 km north on #31/Parr Line gets you on to Telephone Road and the start of some of the most scenic, quiet and picturesque roads in the region. Set a comfortable pace so you can enjoy the trees, open fields, rolling terrain, and rural vistas. The end of Maitland Line puts you back on highway traffic in to Holmesville and then out up a tough climb on #18/Cut Line Road. Your reward at the top is heading south on flat Tipperary Line. From here the ride is gentle, along open fields, finishing with the shaded, encouraging downhill along Bayfield River Road towards your starting point.
Bayfield 60+
Difficulty: Coming Soon
Length: 68 km
Start: Coming Soon
Any second thoughts about this challenge will be rewarded by kilometer after kilometer of stunning vistas, wooded and open roads, varied terrains, and segments with rural traffic on seldom used routes. Start as noted in previous Bayfield routes, eventually heading east on Bayfield River Road. Stay on this quiet, rolling road until heading north on Tipperary Line. Drop down in to Holmesville on #18/Cut Line Road, then begin the hills as you head north on #31/Sharpes Creek Line and climb east on #15/Londensboro Road. #8/Base Line is your biggest challenge, but is a short, mostly downhill 2km to Winthrop Road; now you can really relax and enjoy yourself crossing waterways, past county living, through farmlands, and along the Hullett Marsh border. Clinton offers a chance to find shade and a cold drink before proceeding; make sure to select Isaac Street when you cross Ontario at the main intersection as the residential route to #13/Bayfield Road is definitely preferred. Telephone Road is a better option returning, taking you off many highway kilometers as you head back to Tipperary Line. Easy riding now, with the final 10 kilometers let you appreciate a challenging ride well done.
Egmondville 26-35
Difficulty: Medium
Length: 33 km
Start: Seaforth, Main Street
Park close to downtown so you can enjoy Seaforth hospitality once you complete your ride. This loop starts across from the historical Van Egmond House. Roll east out of town on Front Road/Line 32, past the golf course and through flat, open country. Turning south on Perth Road 180 makes for a more rolling ride as you pass through Hibbert to Staffa. Turning west on Perth Line 24 offers a flat bike route through quiet farm land. Your final turn north on Kippen Road #12 has you on the last leg back in to Seaforth and whatever reward you fancy once in town.

Goderich 15-25
Difficulty: Coming Soon
Length: 23 km

Riding clockwise, get a couple of great hills in for a warm-up crossing the mighty Maitland River. Wide paved shoulders make the trip to Benmiller a real pleasure with rolling terrain, cross the Maitland again, much wider here but similar elevation. The final leg to Goderich is generally downhill and follows some of the least travelled roads in the area until nearing Goderich where highway commercial roads are designated. Consider exploring some residential roads here. You will be rewarded.
Goderich 51-60
Difficulty: Coming Soon
Length: 59 km
Start: Goderich, close to Victoria Street or Walmart/Zehrs Parking Lot
This route connects Goderich to Blyth in the shortest route. Terrain is rolling and generally uphill toward Blyth, but you will hardly notice with the prevailing West with off Lake Huron. Payback on the return, but downhill! Great views approaching the lake! The roads on offer are relatively busy with daytime traffic.
Seaforth 15-25
Difficulty: Coming Soon
Length: 24 km
Start: Seaforth Main Street
Parking downtown means you will have a great chance to spot the amenity you will visit once back to your car. A quick 4km has you taking Bridge Road, the sideroad angling on your right before you cross the river. The remainder of your ride will be flat along quiet country roads and through stunning farm country. South on Beechwood Line, west on Hydro Line Road, south on Hensall Road, across Highway #8 and west again at Front Road brings you full circle. Seaforth 51-60
Difficulty: Coming Soon
Length: 49 km
Start: Seaforth, Main Street
This longer route, like the 36-50 on the 15-25, builds on the previous by adding extended kms on quiet county roads and reducing highway kms. Continuing with the idea of travelling in a clockwise direction, park on/near Main Street, then head to the main intersection with Highway #8. Take Highway #8 west through Seaforth until turning on to the quiet travel of Roxboro Line. The terrain will become more rolling but the travel more peaceful. At Roxboro head north on Hydro Line Road until you reach #15/Kinburn Line. A short 2km north puts you to BRIDGE ROAD and east on a quieter, country road. Once at #12/North Line travel north on #12 until you reach Summerhill Road and the quiet of farm country travel. When you reach #14/Perth Road 180 it is but a short 2km south until you turn west at Bridge Road. Enjoy the calm and farm vistas while travelling south on Beechwood Line, west on Hydro Line Road, south on Hensall Road, across Highway #8 and west again on Front Road. As you bike past the golf course you near the end of this adventure. North at the stop sign has you on Main Street and close to the car. Well done! Now where to go to slacken that thirst and replenish all those depleted energy stores?
