Ontario’s West Coast has beautiful freshwater beaches. People have been drawn to the shores of Lake Huron for generations to enjoy its miles of sandy beaches and blue waters. A day on the beach with family is where memories are made that last a lifetime. Visit one of our many beaches and see for yourself!

Huron County’s sunsets have been rated some of the most spectacular in the world! Take a stroll along our shoreline, boardwalks or piers to experience these beautiful sunsets for yourself.

Port Albert Beach
Port Albert offers a mid-sized sandy beach.  The river flowing into the lake offers excellent fishing opportunities.

Point Farms Provincial Park
This large sandy beach is located within the Provincial Park.

Sunset Beach
A long path followed by stairs set between the trees leads to the beach and provides excellent opportunities for birdwatchers. This beach is very rocky.

Goderich Main Beach
Goderich’s Main Beach offers a large sandy beach. A boardwalk, snack bar, and playground make this an excellent choice for families.

St. Christopher’s Beach
St. Christopher’s Beach is very rocky, with grass and no sand. The pavilion and picnic tables make this beach an excellent location for lake front picnics and family gatherings.

Rotary Cove Beach
Rotary Cove offers a large sandy beach. This beach also offers picnic tables, benches, trees for shade, and a large playground for kids. A popular snack bar, known as the Wheelhouse, offers covered picnic tables and washrooms.

Black's Point Road Beach
This natural area, popular with bird watchers, offers a wide beach with lots of grassy areas and small bushes. Note that this area can get a little swampy after a heavy rain.
