Bobby Rabbit’s grandfather had one searing regret. His sacred medicine pouch had been stolen long ago and sent to the British Museum. Young Bobby promised he’d someday get that pouch back. Well, now he’s got a plan. What if he dug up the bones of Sir John A. MacDonald, and held them ransom until the Crown returned the pouch?

What follows is Bobby’s hilarious road trip with lifelong buddy, aspiring (or delusional) rock star Hugh, while the ghost of Sir John A. makes pithy comments from the great beyond. Taylor’s trademark ability to examine Canada’s colonial past with both humour and humanity is on full display in this whip-smart comedy full of history, hijinks and heart.
