What first sparked your passion for cooking?
The creativity and the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. Watching people get enjoyment of a creative and sustainable meal really ticked off all the boxes. I knew, I was never destined to be in an office or sitting at a computer. The kitchen has always had my heart.

I lived with my friends in college (Fanshawe) and cooked for them so l didn’t have to pay rent for about a month. I really enjoyed it.

Cheddar Cheese Stuffed Perogies Topped with Maple Bacon, our House Salsa and Sour Cream

Eating in Huron County – Eddington’s of Exeter – Metzger’s Steak.
Drinking in Huron County – Square Brew (Goderich) – West Coast IPA while on the golf simulator.

What sparked your passion for cooking?
Canada is very multi-cultural, being able to apply seasoning and preparations from around the word to locally sourced products sparked an interest in cooking.
How would you describe your cooking style in a few words?
My cookig style is to keep it simple and let the ingredients speak for themselves.
What is one Huron County ingredient or producer that you love working with?
We have had a partnership with Metzger Meats in Hensall since 2005. The smoked sausage is a favourite.
What dish on your menu should every visitor try at least once?
The Confit Duck Wings are a must try.
