Summer is in full swing on Ontario’s West Coast and July is brimming with is brimming with excitement. Local festivals and events this month offer visitors a chance to celebrate the classic Corvette, pursue arts and crafts, take part in a massive rummage sale, attend a concert, and celebrate all things summer.
Join the Huron Historic Gaol 50 years later to celebrate the last five decades of heritage and history made possible by saving this local landmark. Live music and interactives are happening at the Gaol and on the lawn throughout the day.
Hands-on activities to include touch-the-truck with Public Works equipment (no jail walls will be harmed!). Refreshments (including ice cream!) while supplies last.

Calling All Hearts Home! Clinton’s 150th Homecoming is July 4th through 6th. Lots of events are happening throughout the weekend, including a drone show, a car show, an outdoor movie, a teddy bear parade, live music, food trucks, and more!
See hundreds of classic and Corvettes at Bayfield Vette Fest. Friday, July 4th is the Summer Night Cruise, and the Vettes will be in Clan Gregor Square, Bayfield on July 5th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you’re coming to the Bayfield Vette Fest on July 5th, make sure you walk across the street to the Bayfield Fireman’s Breakfast on Saturday morning ( 8:00 – 11:00 am). They put on a great breakfast!
The Goderich Kinette Club Festival of Arts and Crafts takes place in Courthouse Square Park, Goderich, from July 4-6th. 100 artisan vendors selling goods that are 100% handmade. Visitors will find a mix of high-quality arts and crafts, including visual arts, pottery, clothing, jewellery, and small batch food items. The festival runs Friday from noon to 8 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Find that bargain or unique one-of-a-kind piece at the Pioneer Park Rummage Sale on Friday, July 11th, at the Bayfield Community Centre, 4 Jane Street, Bayfield. A generations-old community event, now in its 76th year, that pulls our village together and kicks off the summer season. The annual Rummage Sale is the largest revenue-generating event to support and maintain Pioneer Park, a vibrant, healthy, and open park space in Bayfield.

$15 admission and age of majority after 6 pm.

Piping Down the Sun is back, Goderich! For July, catch the Celtic Blue Highlanders one hour before sunset each Friday for this deep-rooted event. Known to most residents, this event is at the Goderich Cove beach. The Celtic Blue Highlanders will be playing one hour before sunset.
